Monte Mar restaurant, which since 1973 has gradually won over a legion of faithful customers both nationally and internationally due to its tradition and high quality, takes its place among the most prestigious restaurants on the Cascais line.

This recognition is intimately linked to one name: Laura Rocha, who, since 1989, has been in charge of the kitchen and has been the faithful guardian of the recipes and principles applied to the best that we serve.

Mastery in the preparation and production of the best fish and shellfish on the Portuguese coast, the care with which Carlos Rocha treats our own nurseries of shellfish, located under the restaurant in the rocks of Guincho, at all times ensuring the highest quality in the kitchen, without neglecting to mention the famous Fresh Hake Fillets with Cockle Rice, all this is lovingly attended to by the couple Laura and Carlos Rocha and has been at your disposal since 2016 at Monte Mar Lisbon, in Cais do Sodré, and now also at Fish in Lisbon 2019.
