Chef João Pedrosa

João Pedro Pedrosa, aged 40, takes control of the kitchen with his own very particular style, created through his experience and commitment to the industry, which has proved his life’s calling. Brought up in a family in which everyone cooked, he sought some training in the area and in 2005 opened his first restaurant on the Algarve, where he stayed for three years. In the summer of 2007, he returned to Lisbon to open IBO, where he established his distinctive approach and invested in a strong team in which service sustains the quality underlying the entire enterprise. In everything he does, he promises to seek flavour and comfort at the table.
