The fifth edition of Lisbon Fish & Flavours surpassed the best expectations of the organization, registering a record number of visitors, approximately 25.300 (exceeding the 21.700 in 2011) during the 11 days of the event. The number of foreign visitors also increased, having doubled compared with the past year´s edition - 17% in 2012, compared with 8% in 2011, and being Spain, Germany, Brazil and France then main countries of origin.

The success of the fifth edition of Lisbon Fish & Flavours was also reflected in other data. There was a general increase in consumption, particularly in the tastings of the 10 restaurants represented at the event, and the parallel activities were very busy.

The Lisbon Fish & Flavours 2012 taked place on the 12-22 April at Pátio da Galé - Terreiro do Paço, and is an organization of the Lisbon Tourism, with the support of Lisbon City Hall and the production of EV-Essência do Vinho.
